The Commissioner promotes a culture built on the principles of integrity, independence, fairness, courage, accountability and public interest.

Every employee in the Commissioner’s office plays an important role in detecting, preventing and responding to improper conduct.

Prior to employment at the Office of the ICAC candidates must undertake suitability checks. Under the ICAC Act, if a person has had recent political affiliation, they could be found unsuitable for employment at the Office of the ICAC.
