Reports of suspected improper conduct may be referred under the ICAC Act to another entity to deal with.
When a matter is referred to another entity, information from the report will be provided to that entity. Careful consideration is given to what information is provided to referral entities and the identity of a protected person will only be provided if it is deemed necessary to enable the referral entity to act and we have spoken to you as the protected person and obtained your view.
Your protected communication remains in place even if the report is forwarded to a referral entity.
